+# Gestor de Pintura Industrial (GPI)
+
+Modern Full-Stack Application for managing industrial painting projects.
+
+## Tech Stack
+
+- **Backend**: Node.js, Express, Prisma, PostgreSQL.
+- **Frontend**: React (Vite), Tailwind CSS, TypeScript.
+
+## Prerequisites
+
+- Node.js (v18+)
+- PostgreSQL (running locally or via Docker)
+
+## Setup
+
+### Backend
+
+1. Navigate to the backend directory:
+
+   ```bash
+   cd backend
+   ```
+
+2. Install dependencies:
+
+   ```bash
+   npm install
+   ```
+
+3. Configure Environment Variables:
+   - Copy `.env.example` (or create `.env`)
+   - Set `DATABASE_URL="postgresql://user:password@localhost:5432/gpidb?schema=public"`
+
+4. Run Migrations:
+
+   ```bash
+   npx prisma migrate dev --name init
+   ```
+
+5. Start the server:
+
+   ```bash
+   npm run dev
+   ```
+
+   Server runs on `http://localhost:3000`.

+
+1. Navigate to the frontend directory:

+   cd frontend

+2. Install dependencies:
